This is actually how I look in the morning.

Scary group , my nephews and Cheryl.

Dryden the Infiltrator, and the walking dead.

Road trip! I just had surgery and the kids came down with strep throat, the logical choice
isolate and rest, limited mobility, aye  Road trip works!

Kitty and Droopy at the Timberrr trading post mid way to the Oregon coast on hwy 26.
we found some some great artwork for the house and the only other shopper
was a hornet.

Crossing the Astoria Bridge into Washington looking out over the Columbia River
Where it meets the Pacific ocean.

Sunset at an inlet near Raymond Washington.

Kirsten and I took photos, but Dryden was not getting out of the car <grins>

Our map, in yellow the route we took, 500 miles we covered staying the night in Ocean shores.

Swimming while Dad read his book, joy! After my surgery and spending 3 days at kaiser
with sick kids, it was nice to just rest up at the Hotel.

Goodbye Ocean shores, here we come Pacific Beach!

That is a lot of seagulls.... thousands of them all screaming and waddling about...
Kirsten and Dryden asked what are we going to do here dad, "We're going to send
Dryden out there and get those bird aloft" I said. Kirsten laughed and said no I am!

And Dryden not far behind her! the roar of wings was amazing I felt lucky we didn't have bread!

I just couldn't stop laughing. =) Okay maybe it was a bird sanctuary, they need the exercise!!!

Dryden has his mood ring on his hot chocolate testing it's mood....

Thanks for the Mocha Espresso Dad, no wonder she stayed awake the whole trip,
We laughed and talked the whole time sightseeing.

You bet Honey!, let me try to figure out where we are, I know we have turned around a lot.
Uh oh! Is that the Canadian border coming up?

Oh here we are we're on Long Island... a wildlife preservation.

And there's deer here!! sweet!

Back to Oregon across the longest bridge! to Astoria <grins>

Kirsten took this halfway across through the sunroof.

Dryden spent a little time in his own ICU,, or his Bat ICU as we dubbed it.
They were both feeling better even before we left,  Penicillin does wonders...

Foggy Magical Pacific Beach. This was a wonderful trip, we were all under the weather, with a
cooler full of meds and Vitamins we made lemonade from the lemons life handed us this week.
